November 13th – Donington Hall
The new Norton Atlas 650 range was launched this evening before an invited audience in the library at Donington Hall. The proceedings were started with Stuart Garner riding the first production V4SS (no 1 of 200) into the library. There is the road oriented Atlas Nomad which is priced at £10k and the off road Ranger version at £12k. Deliveries are geared for May 2019 onwards from a new 12,000 sq ft factory to be built on-site. There is a special run of Atlas SS limited to 100 machines which will be built first – these are £16k and the pictures below show Nomad and SS (union jack tank). The 650 engine will go into a racing frame to compete at the TT.
