June 15th – Bawtry
Saturday June 15th saw members of the East Yorks branch meet up with the Notts branch at the halfway house of Bawtry. After refreshments, a short ride together northwards towards Thorne occurred.

May 13th – Elvington
A Guiness world record for a tuk-tuk was set at Elvington – a 2 way run of just over 74 mph beat the previous record by 6 mph – the original engine has been replaced by a 1300cc Daihatsu engine – a passenger must be carried & a Guiness representative was prsent
April 27/28th – Stafford Show
1974 JPN 850 Commando – genuine bike with only 18 miles on it.
Shipped to American dealer who rode it round the block then put it in his showroom, where it stayed until being shipped back last year.
The current owner has not started it but has had a scope in the bores and says it all looks OK.
